Why the mixed emotions? Well, I started this blog just about 4 months ago. Its purpose is to share other great web site links, reviews and primarily any thing related to the sex industry. Also an odd ball post here and there via me myself and I.. I never expected that it would be listed with in the Top 50 Sex Blogs.
I feel like I am the person in the old car carrying the Clampetts aka The Beverly Hillbillies into Beverly Hills. :)
If you take a look at some of the content with in those blogs that are in the top 50, they are written via some pretty serious heavy duty writers. They take their blogs seriously and for them this is not a hobby, but a full time occupation.
For many years I wrote detailed flamboyant escort reviews on our local escort review board. It was never for compensation, just as this blogs motivation is not for compensation. Percentage wise, since I have not written on the local escort review board in the past 4 or 5 months, their readership and general morale is way down. The place is practically a ghost town.
The views of my blog, yesterday, was 830 views. For the past two weeks it averages 600 to 700 views every day. The numbers are climbing steadily. (a month or so ago the views were 400 to 500 a day) Maybe some day there will be some ads placed to convert the thousands of daily views into some $$$, but just as I posted reviews for many years on our local board and was never compensated, even if I am never compensated here, it is all for the benefit of sharing with in this interesting hobby of ours.
I am continually amazed when I click on the stats of this blog and see the hundreds and soon to be thousands of people and the pages that they click on.
It amazes me when I do a post and how the choice of ONE WORD can make all the difference in the world in Google search ratings and how many hundreds or thousands of people will visit the blog via searching that one particular word.
It reminds me of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski and how a simple word, I forget if it was "is" or "the", but it made all the difference in the world of what President Bill Clinton was defending him self of.
I am the new kid on the block and it is an honor to be on the same list as one of the Top 50 Sex Blogs. Kinda like owning and driving a Mercedes that is 15 years old and has 250,000 miles on it, but you are still classified in the same category as all of the other Mercedes owners with brand new cars. :)
I know I just made it in on the bottom of the Top 50 Sex Blogs list and looking at it optimistically, the good thing about being on the bottom is there is no place left to go but UP !!! ha ha ha :)
Looking forward to serving my constituents (ha ha ha sounds like politics) and I am deeply grateful for this Grammy award!!! :) ha ha ha (I mean being listed as one of the Top 50 Sex Blogs)
